This fun class is for beginner through advanced skaters to learn, improve and master their jumps, spins and spirals. Students will learn how to center a spin and increase rotation speed. They will also learn proper preparation, take-off and landings for jumps.
This class is open to skaters ages 5-18.
You must bring your own figure skates
Building block methodology is used working on beginner skills, more advanced turns, jumps, and spins. Skaters are grouped in small numbers by ability. Perfect class for extra practice, introduction into the skating club, and a chance to make new friends while learning together and performing together in both club’s ice shows. Interested in advancing your skating skills while meeting new people and having fun? Then come join is at the Genesee Figure Skating Club at RIT for the Adult Only Figure Skating Session. The session is open to all levels of skaters who are 16 years old and above interested in advancing their skating skills.
